I recently ordered a new sim online to bring over my phone and keep my existing mobile number. After I was sent confirmation that the order was shipped, I received subsequent emails with account information, a service agreement and a request to register my new account. I am curious as to why there was a new Mobile # associated with my new account, as I selected to keep my existing number when I made the online purchase?

It’s normal When you sign up with Koodo, you are assigned a temporary number. Once you receive your SIM and set up your online account, you can port in your own number from your old provider. That way you won’t be a minute without service!
