Hello, i am wondering if i buy an unlocked iPhone SE, or iPhone 6s, that was originally from anot...Yes, Wifi-calling works on iPhone SE and 6s coming from somewhere else (other than Koodo). You might have to update your phone to the latest ios and carrier settings also.
Updated list but still no Samsung GS7 or GS8.

1] Supported devices: LG G7 ThinQ, LG Q Stylo+, LG X Power3, LG G6, LG V30, LG Q6, LG G5, iPhone X, iPhone 8 / 8+, iPhone 7/7+, iPhone 6S/6S+, iPhone 6/6+, iPhone SE, Samsung Note 9, Samsung A8, Samsung GS9/GS9+, or newer
Got an update for my Koodo purchase GS8+ today and it enabled VoLTE. Is wifi calling meant to work too? Can't find an option for it

Hi,
You can go to Phone dialer >> Selection the option on the top right (tri-dot) >> call settings >> Turn the wifi calling ON. Also make sure you download their latest software update from Koodo
Thanks, can confirm the option is there since today's update. I can't activate unfortunately though. Takes me to a Koodo webpage that says wifi calling setup is currently unavailable. I guess I'll try later.

I have a Zenfone 3 with VoLTE & WiFi calling support. I have VoLTE access added to my account by Koodo CSR.
Now, the phone shows VoLTE options in Settings-> Call menu, but VoLTE doesn't seem to be working.

I spent around 8 hours troubleshooting the issue and I have come to the conclusion that IMS registration is failing. Is it due to IMEI or Phone model blacklisting? Or, is it something else?

Your Zenphone3 wasn't supported by Koodo, you would need to get a compatible phone from Koodo as stated in these links

Yes. I am very much aware of it. The goal is to get VoLTE working on non-Koodo phone assuming they are not explicitly barred.
