Trying to buy a pre-owned G3 with the 0$ Tab option online, trying to charge full price outright.


Trying to buy a pre-owned G3 with the 0$ Tab option online, however when it comes to the billing stage it says "heads up, we've made a change to your order" and is trying to charge for the phone outright?

Hello Dangherman. That is weird. It's like if the tab didn't apply anymore. Are you a new customer?
No, currently have a monthly plan. I tried a different phone in my order and the same thing happened.

maybe charging as they need to do a credit check, or did and you do not qualify for phone subsidy AKA the tab. Not sure.

@Dangerman Do you have a $200 spend limit on your account. If yes, that would explain what is happening. After 6 months of on time payments of bills customers can be upgraded and the cap removed. 
That makes sense. I've been a customer for 4 months. Do I have to wait 2 more months to get a certified pre owned phone?

You can upgrade now, but you have to pay outright(full price) since you are still under the spending limit.
Once it removed(hopefully 2 more month in your case), you can use their tab to buy a phone.
