still no service with sim card

I received my SIM card in the mail today and have followed all the steps including all of the “help tips” but I am still seeing no service and am unable to make or receive calls/ texts. 
anyone have anything other than the basic Koodo help tips?

Did you get your self serve confirmation email yet?

If not, DO NOT create your self serve account. It should be automatically created when your line is activated

Your SIM card should have been activated by the time you receive it in the mail. Have you restarted your device after inserting the SIM card to your phone? Did you change your APN settings? Which device are you currently using? https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/setting-data-your-non-koodo-phone
