Koodo Shock Data

I noticed that Koodo has the shock data information letting you know the percentage of data you reached however I’m not getting a single notification. I’m also going to try to buy some extra data as I need it URGENTLY but it won’t send me any options to buy some extra data which I really need.

I assumed you are a postpaid customer?

Normally, the data notification should be on automatically. Can you follow the instruction to check if the notification was on https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/data-usage-alerts

As well, how much data have you used this billing cycle already? have you reached 50% yet?

@sarahshah123 You are not getting notification ‘cause you are nowhere near reach data usage that would trigger them. You have only used 10% of you monthly data so far, unsure why you are looking to purchase more data.

@Bernard Koodo @Dinh Thank you for your help! I suppose sometime yesterday I was trying to use my data for google maps and all of a sudden the data on all my apps was not working. I assumed this was due to me using up all my data but I suppose there was an issue or error of sorts perhaps. Thank you both for your help!

@sarahshah123 you might want to check the settings on your phone, as it might be set way lower than what your plan provides.  Your phone has no idea what data plan you are on--you have to tell it.

Not sure what type of phone you’re using, but maybe this will help:

on an iPhone: https://helpcenter.trendmicro.com/en-us/article/tmka-19068

or on an Android phone: https://support.google.com/fi/answer/9458407?hl=en#zippy=%2Cset-limit-automatically-turn-off-mobile-data
