How do I activate my phone ?


I have been on hold for 2 hours trying to activate my iphone that i purchased online. I put the sim card in but it says no service ? I tried following the instructions and creating a self serve account but apparently the website is not working and just shows me a green page ? It also says my account is under someone elses email and i need to get permission for it to be completed ?? Sooo confused and frustrated !!!! Not a good way to start a new contract

Stay on hold. Don't hang up because wait times later won't be any better. Youll need to speak with a rep to get this sorted.
So waited 2.5 hrs only to be told i need to call some web orders and they can activate it ...why was this not written anywhere or included with my phone that came in the mail..instead i get a piece of paper with no info no information on what the phone number is for this new phone..nothing...waste of my night

Sorry to hear about your experience Kelly. Normally, a new line gets activated by the time the order arrives. Given increase in new orders from last weekends sale, some orders look to be getting shipped before they get activated.
If you still have your order number, would you mind sharing it? (I'm unable to find an account matching your email address). I'll share the order no. with our team and try to get the activation pushed through (hopefully tomorrow).

Since there were other issues other than just activation ( email issue) that would have required a rep it was my opinion to stay on hold. But ok
