I would suggest you try tounplug power from the hub and plug it back again. Sometimes, a simple restart would help.
As Koodo WHP is using Telus cellular network, you could find more about their current outage here https://www.telus.com/en/on/outages I saw several outages in BC as of now.

WHP=wireless home phone.
Landlines are actual physical phone lines that connect you to the phone network. Koodo doesn't offer landline connections.

Yes I had an existing phone before, koodo provides service to it.

What area are you in? I haven’t heard of any outages really, so it might be something else entirely.
