connecting to service on new phone

I received my new phone & transferred my old phone to new. I continue to have ‘no service’ in upper left corner.  How do I connect to Koodo service?

Pay specisl attention to the SIM card 101 section. Note that the easiest activation us using your old SIM in your new phone.
