Blackberry Q5 issues with Koodo sim card


I had a Samsung Galaxy S3 which wasn't working well so I temporarily borrowed my brother's old Blackberry Q5, everything is working but it won't let me make or receive phone calls. The blackberry is unlocked and texting messaging is working, but not phone calls. When I try to make a call it says "Phone calls using the mobile network are blocked by your administrator. For more info, contact your administrator."

i'm ok with that, it's relatively new so not much is on there. should i do it with the sim card inside?

Doesn't matter, you can do it with the sim card inside or removed 🙂

Thanks Ahmad, but that didn't work either 😞 I'm just going to use my Samsung for a bit then and then get a new phone. I appreciate you trying though!

Maybe his BlackBerry is a work phone and they had administrator access to only allow calls under certain conditions? I don't know. That's all I can think of.
