As far as I know, the prepaid and the postpaid are basically different networks... hence the need for different SIM cards.

Sorry! I just noticed the "Change SIM Card" option under my Self Serve options online. It says to just input my new SIM card number and hit "Submit". If I do this, does that mean that my new SIM card will be activated with my account?
When I used to have a postpaid account, I used to pay my bill through my bank account. I just had to insert my bill number/some other information and voila.
Thanks. I'll proceed with my plan to search for a used phone to buy, either unlocked or locked to Telus, then move on to Koodo.
Also, I was just reading around some more... you can use an iPhone that is locked to Telus with a Koodo SIM card?
