Same here. It's not a big deal though.
I just finished updating and restarting... Looks good. Going to do a full reset.
No, due to it still being on koodo.
Why would telus mess with how Android does it stuff... ?
What software? My koodo m8 only has all the HTC stuff ... I had to manually add the koodo self serve app.
No update today.
Really soon... As in sometime today or this week? A post in the tellus forums say theirs is to be today, so you guys as part of telus should be today too. http://forum.telus.com/articles/53566/mobility/software-update-schedule
Where is that schedule table posted? Other than here
It's the 18th, still waiting.
Should I factory reset my phone? In case something is blocking the update from showing...
It's the 18th, where's the update?
Stop pushing it back dammit
Is that tablet any good? Still waiting for the koodo/telus update to hit the m8
It's in the hands of the carriers now, there's nothing we can do... If you want updates faster go get a nexus phone... Get the update right from Google.
Ah well at least we have a definite date now.
Would really like my phone to update before I have to fly back to Alberta....
I keep checking my m8 after reading that article... Hopefully it will update soon.
I have warranty with it at best buy... I will inquire tomorrow. tHough I don't want to get rid of the phone... I have a real expensive glass screen protector on it
Best Buy still has some available... check their website to see if any stores near you have them. I got mine a week ago for $0 on aa 2 year contract. It is a great phone.
it may not be available any more. there is a $63 one that seems similar to what i have. i will miss the extra 1GB of data but oh well.
thanks. I may have to downgrade to the $70 plan...
At the time I couldn't get it to work and neither could the manager at the koodo booth in the local mall. So I had to call in.
I was well within my data plan. There was a $10 plan change fee which didn't help. The guy on the phone who changed my plan for me must have been off on his calculations of how much the bill would be.
Koodo should add that to their page then especially for mobile users as there is no mention of this.
so, I would need to get a new sim card to use the nfc functions of my galaxy note 2? Koodo should get on this as the big 3 and virgin do it...
