Oops. Sorry I mis-read. Had a big lunch lol It sounds like Cellular data is your issue here If iMessage works on wifi but not on data, then internet should be the same issue. 1) If 3G and Data are enabled, Do you have data blocked on your account? 2) I assume Voice and regular texting works...
Since this is due to physical damage it wouldnt be covered under warranty. You can bring it into Koodo to get an estimate of the out of warranty repair costs plus $25 admin fee http://help.koodomobile.com/getting-started-with-koodo/before-you-purchase/what-is-your-warranty-and-repair-policy
Are you using the default email app or the gmail app? After some reading it turn out that others are also having issues with emails still vibrating while in blocking mode. You might have to turn off vibrate manually. I know, it's not really a solution but a work around :s
