From what I understand, the software update calendar isn't very accurate. Telus usually makes the changes for their customers first, push the update, then send it to Koodo for them to change what they want and push it. So it might take a little bit of time for the updates to be pushed through.
It might also never make it to every single store. Certain phones will be kept either as online exclusives or in stores in major population areas. It all depends on the available stock. Currently the site says 3 to 5 weeks before you get your phone, so I'd guess stock levels are low and it won't be...
I havn't heard about this before either... Perhaps when you call in you can find out more information about the issue. You might also be able to contact Koodo via Facebook to avoid the telephone delays.
I think it's the same people, those who take calls also take fb messages. They get back to you as soon as possible, at least on FB you don't have to sit there and wait and can move on to other things.
