I am considering upgrading my phone using tab mid. The website states that plans start at $50 and my current plan is $45. Do I need to get a more expensive plan just to upgrade my phone using a tab? or can I upgrade my phone and keep my existing plan but just pay the tab fee monthly?

It depends on what plan - sometimes Koodo has personalized offers in self serve that you can get in combination with a phone and tab mid. Those plans are usually better than the ones available on the website too, so worth checking!
