My account was flagged as fraud, I sent the documents to fraudtax@telus.com, but haven't received any replies, and I can't port my number over to Koodo. I need to solve this now

How did you know your account was flagged as fraud?

The Fraudtax email is also suspicious.

If your account was indeed flagged as fraud, count yourself lucky you did not port your number over yet.  If you did then your number would be stuck in limbo until the fraud investigation was resolved.  The Fraud team is a bit of a blackhole.

Hi @trjngrsb, the correct email is fraudfax@koodomobile.com Is that the email you used? You can also use fraudfax@telus.com but that is primarily used for TELUS accounts.

the email was fraudfax@telus.com, I typed wrong. the thing is it is not fraud, I opened it myself, and can't transfer my number. My concern is being billed by both Koodo and my old provider.

As long as you followed the instructions from the Fraud team, you did all you can.  You are at the mercy of the fraud team.

Like I said it is a good thing you didnt transfer your number over.  If your line in under fraud investigation, your line is suspended.

I haven’t received any replies from the fraud team yet.

@Georgia Koodo

do you think it is bets to send it again to fraudfax@koodomobile.com?

i only send to the telus one.

You can certainly send the information again. We’re not seeing any updates yet from the Fraud team on the account.

@Georgia Koodo is there anything you can help me with my problem?

i just emailed the koodo fraud email

Hi @trjngrsb

We have looked into however, there is no update yet from the Fraud team.

If you sent the email with the required info, please wait for a response from them. Do not forget to provide a contact number in the subject line of the email.
