using Telus Note 2 (out of bondage June 3) on Koodo Prepaid, APN issues?????


I heard there would be problem using data on a Telus Note II on Koodo,in that the APN though changed will automatically revert back to Telus after you turn the phone off. Is there a fix ? Can Koodo Prepaid at the local store do it for me? when I go and get a prepaid SIM card?

You will be migrating from a monthly Telus to prepaid Koodo. Chances are that SIM change will do the trick entirely. Used my unlocked Koodo Note II with a US carrier for several months last winter. Changing out the Koodo SIM made the Koodo APN disappear. Going back to the Koodo SIM later brought back the old values automatically. No sign of the US values on the phone. Everything else (contacts, preferences, files) was intact. That's not necessarily the case Bob, if it doesn't automatically work which has been the case with customers on here before then try changing the CSC of the phone just dial *#272*Phone’s IMEI Here# (you can get the IMEI of your device by dialing *#06*). Then choose kdo or Koodo. Keep in mind that this will factory reset the device so back up any info you wish not to lose.
