I recently bought a MotoG prepaid phone for my wife and we've been having problems with sending & receiving text messages with it. She's tried to send several texts to at least 3 different people only to have the messages eventually time-out and not get sent at all. Other times, the messages appear to have been sent on her end but are not received on the other end. She's also not received messages that I've sent or, when she does receive them, hours have passed. I called Koodo about this and the guy I spoke with said something about her perhaps not having her phone set up to automatically adjust time/time zone settings (she's in Alberta, I'm in Ontario), though I don't understand how that is relevant at all. In any case, he had my wife adjust settings on the phone and remove the battery & SIM card which seemed to help, but today she's back to facing the same issues. She took the phone to a Koodo store and the guy she spoke with there told her that his wife has the same phone & the same issues and the only thing he could suggest was to turn the phone off at least once a day. Did we just pick a crappy phone or is there a proper fix for this that just hasn't been shared with all of the right people? I have a Galaxy Note 2 and my daughter has my old Galaxy S3 and neither of us have had these problems. Then again, we aren't using prepaid, so maybe that's part of it, though I really can't see how it would be. Any help would be appreciated!
