I have a Koodo phone on a monthly plan, with 20 days left on current month billing cycle (ends on April 17). I bought SIM card to migrate phone to prepaid. Want to know if I switch now, do we get reimbursed for unused balanced of days of the monthly plan?
Hey Nicolas! No worries, you won’t get charged twice! Usually when a number is ported out, the account is not cancelled right away but for the end of the current billing cycle. However In this case (switching from postpaid to prepaid), your account should be cancelled as soon as the port will be processed and you should not get billed for the remaining days of your billing cycle.
