Should I cancel my phone if I left it in a cabby...

You should at least suspend the service which you can do via self-serve. Your responsible for all charges until you suspend your service. However, if you have any tracking apps on yor phone, your phone won't be able to be tracked if you suspend your service. Koodo can't track your phone for you either

Also, do you have cab number/driver ID number?
I would contact cab company. Tell dispatch where you get on from and to where at what time.
They should be able to contact driver and the driver could check it,
If the driver is honest person, you might get it back...
