I'm asking this on behalf of my brother, who has a large balance on his pre-paid account to the tune of around $1500. He must have deposited a large amount when he first opened the account.
My brother is an autistic adult, and often does things compulsively, without much planning. Our family feels he can have better use for this money than letting it sit in a hardly used prepaid phone account.
Reading through various posts, it is my understanding the prepaid balance is non-refundable, but what is the chance in this case to get the money back if the phone account is closed? I'm not a Koodo customer, so have no idea what/how the next step should be.
Any insight is much appreciated !
