prepaid sign up genetic error


everything i try to set an account up it wont work when i get to the part where i choose what plan and finish to go to the next section it takes me to another page saying gentic error, i already paid for everything and tried this 10 times now and it hasnt work, if anyone knows anything about this issue it would be much appreciated

im trying to create a new account and i get to the the 6th part where i choose my plan and after i hit the finish and go the paying method it just changes the page to genetic error page and says for me to relog in but my account didnt create so it wouldnt let me sign in, i have everything paid for already, i have a phone and paid for the prepaid card
I'm getting the same thing, tried twice on my computer and once on phone browser, have already paid for services at the kiosk I just need it activated. Once you select the phone number from list and hit continue it says: Generic Error Oh no! It looks like something went wrong, but don’t panic. Log out and then log back in again to continue. Or return to the Login Page.
yeah and when you press it, it just takes you to another error page and doesnt work, its pissing me off

Thanks for the update! I have notified Koodo that there seems to be a problem - there were a few others too that reported it. Let's hope they act soon 🙂 In the meantime, if you are in a hurry to activate, you can call 1-866-99-KOODO (1-866-995-6636) or 647-788-4337. Hours of Operation Monday − Friday: 10am - 9pm Saturday: 9am - 7pm Sunday: 9am - 7pm

Yes...it is still happening...its been happening all day...since I bought mine at noon. If I have to put in all my information on the 5 pages one more time and get this error I am going to SCREAM! Not a good start to trying Koodo...maybe I should just stay with Wind Mobile...I've never had this problem there...

LOL don't SCREAM you'll upset the neighbors 😃 If it makes you feel any better, it's the first time this has happened as far as I know in at least a year... things do go wrong and I'm sorry you were at the receiving end. Call the number above and more than likely they'll be able to activate your new line for you 🙂

How can I call the number....When I don't have a working phone because I can't activate my sim card!?!?

In that case you can't... that is if you don't have any friends, family, neighbors, or public phones around. Sorry 🙂 It's been flagged to Koodo so all we can do is wait till it's sorted!

Please say it is a Generic Error I did not know that phones or SIMs had genetics - maybe there is a problem with the gene splicing? I'm sorry, I know that the phone not working is a big thing, have you contacted either the kiosk about this, or contacted koodo about it?

Your login is setup as a manager and not the account owner. You'll need to call customer service so they can fix it from their end.
