Prepaid activation


I paid for prepaid base plan and boosters for Minutes & Data at Koodo kiosk; now it is asking me to pay again when I am trying to activate my account.

If you already have an account, you don't need to activate a new one, Gea. Did the kiosk set you up with a plan, can you dial 611 from your phone for example?
I didn't have an account, and paid for the base plan and boosters at the kiosk. I called them and they told me I would be able to enter the PIN numbers from the receipts, but no where did I see a place to do that. So now I have paid twice. Where did I go wrong and how can I get a refund?

Try this, Gea, go to self service: https://prepaidselfserve.koodomobile.com/ Then after you log in, click Top up your account. Then select "Top up voucher" and see if you can enter those PIN (voucher) numbers there. Your vouchers should still be valid 🙂

you need to be registered to log in and you can"t register without a koodo phone number that you only get when you activate your phone.
Is there a number I can call to get this straightened out?

Contact info is in the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of every page. *611 from your phone.
The "contact us" info is next to useless in this case. I managed to apply my vouchers, although all went to the base plan, instead of two out of three being applied to boosters. I have cancelled automatic top up as I want this credit balance to be used first for the base plan monthly renewals. I am assuming that is what will happen....that the next monthly renewal will come out of the credit balance on this account.

What I'd do: keep the automatic top up but set it to $5. You will still get the 10% credit and you will also use up your voucher credit for the remaining $10. Best of all worlds 🙂

Oh and can certainly use the credit for boosters! Once the funds are in your account, you can use them for anything you like, base renewal, boosters or even to unlock your phone.
i am having the exact same problem! and i am so frustrated i refuse to pay again. I need help where do i enter my prepaid voucher when activating my koodo phone?!!?

There are a few steps you have to follow.
1. Activate the phone at https://activateprepaid.koodomobile.com/
2. Sign up for prepaid self-serve https://prepaidselfserve.koodomobile.com/ and log in.
3. Go to Billing. On the Top-Up click the drop-down next to Payment Method and select "Top-Up Voucher".
4. Enter your voucher number in the box and click Submit.

This will update the balance in your account. You can use it to pay your monthly fee, or buy boosters.
