Porting out, and porting back in?


Hi,

I recently ported out my number from Koodo prepaid, and not happy with the company I ported it to, so i'm wanting to port back in. Can I use the same sim card, and get my data usage, and minutes restored?

How long has it been since you ported out? In some cases koodo can restore an account but I'm not entirely sure how that works when the number was posted out...

I'd definitely contact Koodo and ask them to restore your account. You can call them, the number can be found in the "contact us" link below. Hope it can be done 🙂

Oh I'm just now waking up properly and just noticed that you were on Prepaid with Koodo as well.. Yikes I missed that, thinking you had a plan and ported TO prepaid. I'm not giving you any hope now... You will need to buy a new prepaid SIM card and open a new account, then port back your number. You will have lost your boosters I'm afraid. Sorry about the runaround, that'll teach me to answer a question before the first coffee 😞
