I'm porting my prepaid Koodo number to another carrier (which I assume will deactivate my Koodo account), but I have a positive balance in my Koodo account that has accumulated from the monthly 10% automatic top-up bonus. Will I get a refund of my balance?

Nope, sorry. All positive balance accumulated on a prepaid account with any provider is forfeited when you cancel service.
