Question

I hope, ALL data applications work via Koodo's network, not only browsing?

Hi happy customers! I'm thinking of joining with my own smartphone. Based on your experience, could you please advise, if all normal data applications (maps, e-mail, may even some VoIP clients?) work directly on the Koodo's mobile network? Was with another GSM before, their data plans work via some weird APN with all ports blocked, except for a browsing application. And now worrying, if Koodo has the same problem...

What's your device? Provided it's unlocked it should be fine. My unlocked Galaxy Nexus works great.

Hi John, Sure, it's unlocked 🙂. It's Sams Galaxy S (i9000). The phone is fine on its own, it worked perfectly in a number of providers. But in Canada data is a bit pricey, so looking for adequate data plan.. So, you have at least Google maps working on your phone with Koodo, via Koodo's APN? That's good, thanks!
