Hi Everyone!, As stated above, I'm coming to Canada on an exchange from the Netherlands next January. I was hoping I could get some questions I had answered so I could quickly get on board Koodo once I arrive. I am sorry in advance for my bad English and it isn't my native tongue. 1) I presume I will not be able to get on the Tab since I am not a Canadian resident. The only information I would have is an SSN, credit card, debit card, and study permit. If this isn't the case, let me know! 2) Since I'm looking at Prepaid, I am to figure out the best option for my needs. I would mostly be using texting, and some local phone calls (Toronto or Ottawa region), with some data (<100mb). I may text to my European friends back home as well. 3) I'm used to paying approx 45$ CAD (30€) for 3gb of Data, unlimited calls and texts. I understand that may not be possible here, but as mentioned above, I mostly plan on texting and some minimal data usage. What would be the best combo in my case? 4) I would need the mobile bands that Koodo uses to determine if my phone will work on its network (I have a Nexus 6P). If anyone knows of them, please share! Thanks in advance for everything, -Maar

1. Unless you are buying a phone from Koodo the tab is irrelevant. As long as you can pass a credit check you can sign up for postpaid service if you choose, although foreign credit cards must be registered with Koodo before you can use them to pay bills to help combat credit card fraud. 2. The best price for booster minutes on prepaid is $25 for 500 minutes. Data will be $30 per GB. Your best deal would be a monthly plan, I'd suggest either the $55 or the $65 postpaid plan. (unlimited minutes, 1GB and 2GB respectively.). 3.koodo uses the 850/1900 MHz 3G bands for voice, text and 3G data. They use 1700/2100 MHz for LTE (data only).
