Do I need to cancel my monthly plan after switching to prepaid?


I just activated my PrePaided SIM and carried over my previous number that I was using on my monthly plan with koodo. Do I need to cancel the monthly plan somehow or is that done automatically through the SIM activation and number transfer? I can't send or receive anything on the old SIM(monthly plan) but my monthly self serve account is still active. I couldn't find anything about this in the FAQ but figured someone has to know 🙂 Thanks in advance.

Don't worry. By moving your number over, it cancels your monthly plan automatically

Also you can access your monthly self serve account for awhile even after you move to prepaid. Koodo will send you a final bill and you can check your final bill info there.
