deactivate prepaid plan for a month

I'm going to travel oversees for a month and I'd like to deactivate my prepaid plan for the duration. I've just cancelled the automatic top up via my phone and it says my plan will expire when I don't have enough money on the account. I saw online though that it exprires after 90days of no payment. I want to make sure I can reactivate/continue my prepaid plan after one month when I come back.

Yes, you can renew your base plan within 90 days of the expiry date and it will reactivate.

What happens with boosters? For example: - Assume you have the $15 base plan and 800Mb of booster remaining. - You add $15 at the beginning of November and your plan starts over. - At the beginning of December your plan expires, no top-up is added. - Mid-February you add $15 to your account. Are you good to text and use the remaining 800Mb of data for the rest of February? Does your plan start date now move to mid-month?

No. You would lose your boosters. Renew your base plan every month and your boosters will rollover. It's as simple as that

The 90 days is a completely different, unrelated thing

Clarification please: Is this something new? Regular advice has been to the contrary: boosters are intact for the 89 days.

No, it's always been like that. I'd like to point out how you linked a topic where the question was how they could keep their number active without paying the $15/month. And that was to top up once every 90 days so the account was not 'deactivated'.

The topic you linked has absolutely nothing to do with boosters expiring. Like I said, boosters expire if you don't renew your base plan.

Did you actually read the exchange between zinneken and Sophia?

We have a greater need for clarity than attitude.
