Can't call all numbers in Alberta

I purchased my sim card in British Columbia and am now staying in Alberta how come my base plan doesnt allow me to message and call some numbers like ones starting with (416) I cant even call the local cab. Could u please tell me what i need to do to call these numbers.

Hello Sam, If you have a prepaid plan, I believe you will have to add one of the unlimited canada-wide plans for you to be able to have calling outside your local area. Hope this helps 🙂

Hi Sam, prepaid plans only cover local calls, so you would need to add a booster in order to make long distance calls: http://koo.do/doubleboosters.
