Call forward on prepaid

New koodo customer. I have unlocked iphone, base prepaid 15$/month and boosters. I have configured my phone to forward when I'm busy, out of reach or not answering ... To my home phone line. It worked. I do not have any call forward add-on option and don't see how to add this to prepaid on self serve site. Will I be charged minutes for the forwarded calls ? Do I need to add this on ?

As far as I know, call forwarding isn't available for prepaid.
Right now on phone I can redirect with *67* (if busy), 61 (if no answer) and 62 (if unreachable) Indeed the *21* (forward all) does not work . Built what I need is what already works (67' 61, and 62) so it,s just a question of knowing how or if I will be charged for the redirected calls.

Whatever you do, don't plan on forwarding to a US number thru Koodo, even if it seems to work.

There is at least one horror story of someone on postpaid doing that and racking up a bill close to the four figures.

If you are a regular US visitor and need forwarding across North America, take a cheap plan with CallCentric (VoIP) and have your calls forwarded to both US and Canada for a few cents a minute. I have landline and mobile numbers in 4 different US & Canadian area codes, chosen so that my main contacts never have to pay long distance and I never have to pay for roaming. My bill is almost never over $10 US a month for this service.
So is it confirmed that CF works on prepaid? Do you / can you stack 67, 61 & 62 if you want to CF in all three scenarios?

It's not officially supported, pmjzzz and I can confirm that *21 does NOT work. The others I tried and it only worked as long as the phone was on... when I switched it off call forwarding stopped too. However the last time I tried is more than a year ago, I don't know if things changed in the meantime 🙂
I have prepaid + 67, 61 and 62 all permanently configured and it works even with the phone off. 21 does not work. But you can achieve the same thing with 62 + turning off the phone (or airplaine mode)

I use an apple phone with pre-paid and call forwarding has never worked with any of the above numbers.

Call forwarding and roaming (even EXT in Canada) do not work on prepaid.
