automatic top up and charged twice


I wanted to use prepaid plan, so I chose $15 unlimited text message.
And I add 1GB data($30) and 500 minutes calling($25).
These are total $78.4($70 + tax 12%).
I paid it by visa debit card at Koodo mobile shop in a mall.
I put the usim into my phone and activated it.
I also chose automatic top-up and register my visa debit card. 
I found that another $56 was charged in my chequing account.
I activated my phone only 2 days ago and I didn't use it that much.
I cannot understand why this happened.

I purchase the boosters from the store with my visa debit card.
After paying $78.4, I was given a usim and I put it into my phone and activated.
It was Wednesday and I check my balance today.
It says "PURCHASE KOODO TOP UP : $56 charged.

Something is obviously not right. The stores don't normally sell boosters, only SIM card and vouchers. They don't activate prepaid accounts unless that policy has changed recently.

Send a private message to Koodo on their Facebook page. Those reps have access to your account that we don't have here.

Did you receive a $50 voucher with your SIM purchase? Can you check your receipt please? As Bob said something is definitely not right! Though I'm not sure if a rep can help you, you might have to sort it with the store....
