I am shopping for my aunt, but she does not want any data. I was gonna refer her to Koodo, but there are no plans without data. What happened to them ?

The plans got all merged into one big lump Don, only the $29 plan now does not include data. What are your aunt's needs, roughly? Might be able to advise a plan, hopefully 🙂

No problem, she will go somewhere else. She wanted national minutes and international texts unlimited.

No problem, she will go somewhere else. She wanted national minutes and international texts unlim...The $29 plan is what your aunt needs then. Data is only charged if she uses it. That plan comes with 200 anytime national minutes, unlimited text (international too) voicemail, call display, unlimited talk starting from 5pm everyday and all day weekends. https://shop.koodomobile.com/plans/plans/index.html Can get much better than that. and if you refer her you both get $25 tab. http://koodoreferral.com/default.aspx If she brings her own unlocked phone than she could get 10% off the $29 every month. So, really $26 for the above is very decent. http://koodomobile.com/en/on/switch2koodo.shtml

For lots of minutes and no data I too don't think Koodo is the answer. Good luck in finding the right provider for her 🙂

The reason I asked, Don, is based on how many minutes she expects to call, any of the plans might still work (even though they include data). There is also prepaid, which is ideal for international texting and light calling. Only $15 per month and calls are 5 cents/minute, but obviously that would be only be useful for light to moderate users.
