How on earth do I get in touch with Koodo to do this? Callback’s are being scheduled for Thursday...and I messaged them on Facebook on Monday (and still do not have a response). Is this a pointless endeavour? Is it just easier to switch to Fido?

The plan is not available for customers who just want the plan... You need to buy a phone on the tab. If you don't want that, switching providers is certainly an option.
