Virgin offers better promotion, but I want to stay with Koodo, is there any matching?

As per title, I want to get a new Galaxy S8. With tab or otherwise both companies offer 6G Unlimited Calling for $75 a month, but Virgin offers 100-trade in and $75 of accessories. Koodo will give me $65 trade-in and that's it.

hi
Where did you see the promotion from Virgin?
Mall kiosk, also browsed their plans online.

Then it is a local deal, associated with that store. You need to ask them to match. many retails are run by dealers and not by Koodo. If you think that was a better deal, you could go with Virgin.

Both companies are offering $100 bonus gifts, they're just for new activations though. You're only option really would be to go to the other carrier to get the bonus gift. You can also try checking out places like wow mobile, bestbuy, those places as they usually give out gift cards more frequently then individual kiosk locations and sometimes give them out for upgrades as well.

No, that is pre-tab. That's why I gave post tab prices for both. 75 for virgin includes phone. Koodo is 60+15 for phone.

Ok but Koodo 8GB of data, unlimited minutes and Virgin 6GB and only 500 minutes.
No. You used $75 from koodo you should have used $60 plan then added $15 for tab. The 2 companies do it differently. I was providing plan for $75 value for both.

I see what you're getting at now. Virgins price includes the phone(tab).
Ya, they are equal in price, just not initial offerings for upgrade. Which makes some sense but I was hoping to stay and the $175 is significant.

@Allan M could the customer port to prepaid and then port back as a new activation to get the $100 bonus gift?

I mean...technically. Would the sales rep do it for you, iffy. If you talk really nicely you might be able to get some credits thrown in if you mention going to virgin.
