updating my plan, am i prorated?

My bill just came and paid, but I noticed that the $50 dollar 5 gb plan is back. If I change now am I going to have huge bill next month? My bill cycle is from March 7 to April 6.

It would depend how much data or minutes you have already used since April 6. If you are below 1/10of your allotment, there would be no effect from prorated data or minutes.

I’ve used 38mb out of 2gb plan, barley any messages or airtime.

Data doesn’t matter with proration, only minutes does. If you have an unlimited plan then you should be fine. You could find more here https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/proration

However, if you had an 500minutes, there could be issue when you change your plan. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/making-changes-your-plan

I have the unlimited minutes plan on mine. So I shouldn’t be charged 40 + dollars on top of my new plan?

On your April 7-May6 bill you will see:

  • $50 charge for May7-June 6
  • A prorated amount for APril 9-May 6 (around $47)
  • A pro rated credit for April 9-May 6 (around $37)

So I should be ok? I just don’t want a $100 dollar bill next month

From what you told us, you should be ok. Since your current plan already has unlimited miniutes or you have used less than 1/10th of your minutes so you wont need to  worry about overages

That everyone, this is always so confusing to me. I think I’ll go with the new plan.
