Tablet plan SIM received but no service

Just got my new SIM card for my tablet plan from mail. I inserted it to my tablet but not working. Showing no service. I even tried on my phone, still not working.
Just wondering if it has not activated yet?

Usually they send you an activation email before the sim arrives. Have you received that email? Sounds like in your case, that the sim arrived before it was activated. Try again tomorrow or the next day. You could also send them a message on Facebook to ask about it.
