Sim Card?

I have an exchange student from Columbia coming to stay with us for a while and she has the Galaxy Ace 2 for a phone. Would we be able to put a Koodo sim card in it?

Certainly, Jean-Guy, provided her phone is unlocked and has the right frequencies 🙂
How would we know if it's the right frequencies?

Use the tool! You'll need the IMEI found on the phone. http://bit.ly/1cczSKQ
Super, you guys are great! Thank you!!!
I checked my IMEI with that site you gave me and it tells me... The Network Compatibility check cannot be performed at this time. Please try again later. Is that because it's down or will it always tell me that with this one?

Not too sure Jean but if there's a Koodo shop near you, you can go there and test it by putting a Koodo sim to see if it works. It will obviously have to be unlocked though.

The compatibility tool has been kind of flaky about actually determining compatibility ever since they modified it to check whether numbers have been blacklisted as well. Really should be fixed, since it now no longer reliably serves its primary function.

http://www.worldtimezone.com/gsm.html I'd say it should work 🙂
Ok when she gets here we will go to Koodo and test it out with one of their sim cards.
