Seasonal Hold

Hey, I am currently on a seasonal hold for 6 months while I visit japan.
Before when I was in canada I had added an add-on for 500mb of data for $10. When I went into a hold the add-on wasnt removed so now I am paying an extra $10 a month for data I cannot use!
I have tried removing the add-on but it says I am not eligible to change my plan at this time,
I dont mind spending the $15 hold charge plus my tab charge but I would like to remove the extra $10. I also cannot call koodo unless I maybe find a public pay phone here.
