Roaming Dispute

I was charged for International Roaming in Aug 29th and 30th. But I didn’t text, call or use data. I followed this TUTORIAL for self-check 

But I found that no data or messaging was made by me.

Upon reviewing, we can see that the Easy Roam charges triggered due to Voicemail usage. The details can be viewed on the PDF bill: https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/viewing-and-downloading-your-bills

Any usage made in roaming, except for incoming text messages, will trigger the roaming charges. 

Here is a very useful article that explains how unwanted roaming charges can be avoided 


I've been extremely careful not to trigger the roaming charge, e.g., avoiding picking up calls and using cellular data. I always thought voicemails were stored locally and would not cause roaming.

You can see from my records, I only used the voicemail twice. It was a bit unfair that I was charged this much for two operations.
