regulation for new international student to come under tab plan


Heu hi, I am basically an international student in PEi, I am planning to go for koodo google nexus 4 plan ,I am planning to go with 55 $ plan , but am I as an international student eligible for this plan? , because I heard that for getting into any contract I need to have Canadian credit, I just have my SIN no ,

Can anyone please help me with this

Hey Sushant. Those kind of question are kind of hard to predict what the answer will be. You still have some credit history from your other country. Therefore, something may be possible. BUT, you would need to go in-store since those kind of situation are exceptional.

Hi there, Randy is right! You might be able to activate an account even though you're not a permanent resident/citizen. Simply go to a Koodo store with your passport and the rep there will be able to tell you whether or not you can go for a post paid account. If not, you could activate a prepaid one! as a customer when activating, depending on the credit rating, the SLP will be applied to the account upon activation, you cant asked to be put on the SLP. the system does it all for us.
