Real data plans

Data service is a joke in this country; companies like WIND are the only ones offering realistic plans. Wireless data is cheaper to provide than Wired Data. So why charge exhorbitant prices for miniscule 3GB limits? With streaming video and entertainment, 3GB barely scratches the surface of what people want to use. 30-60GB would be a reasonable starting point...

Wireless data is cheaper than wired data. Please provide the source for this information. Incidentally, heroic Wind mobile, providers of "unlimited" data throttle your download speex to slower than dial-up if you use more than 5 GB.

Plus winds unlimited use is only in their own coverage areas which are tiny right now and only really covers Toronto and along hwy 400 north . If you leave their coverage areas you are charged per mb of use at a fairly high price. Koodos data is Canada wide, anywhere you go its the same price . If your 30 - 60gbs a month then you should get home WiFi & connect through that its much much cheaper. I'm at home all the time and use 30 - 60gb a month being on my phone and streaming video, webrowsing and downloading games and apps on multiple phones including review devices and multiple personal devices, so I don't know how the heck if you have a job your at during the day your using anywhere near 30-60gbs in a month on one or two devices there's no way.

30-60 GB?! No dude. If you need that much data, you need a wired connection.

I've been stating this pretty much ever since everyone has wanted bigger data amounts. The most I could ever justify is MAYBE 10 GB, and even that's pushing it. Plus Wind restricts your data. After you hit your cap, your speeds are throttled No thanks.

The throttled speeds are also so slow that it's unbearable. I have many friends who have been with WIND and have left in 2-3 months. Also, their coverage is very small and can't support many customers.
