Plan Switching when Promo's are run?

Can you change your plan at any time? If I sign up now for a $75 data plan, and say they run the double data promo at Christmas can I switch to the $60 promo plan at that time?

Yup.

You are limited to one plan change per billing cycle, however.

If you are on the Tab L, you cannot choose a rate plan that is below $65.

Technically it has to also be a 'Tab L plan', no?

A Tab L plan is any plan that is $65 or more.

That doesn't make sense. The $75 Canada wide data plan has 3GB of data but the same $75 for the TAB L only has 1GB of data. You need to have a Tab L plan, specifically.

Wait, so even if a customer is on a $65 Tab L plan and that same plan (hypothetically) has a promo to a new price of $55 or even $63, Tab L customers are ineligible?

In theory, you should. I'm gonna get confirmation on Monday. As long as the rate plan is $65, you should get the Tab L, I could be wrong though.

@Mo: Yes, that correct. You cannot switch from a Tab L plan until the negative tab balance is paid off.

Hey Myke, do you have any word on the official word yet?

Confirmation is here! If you go on a Tab L, you do have to change to one of the Tab L plans, even if the current plan is at least $65/month. You are also able to change your plan later on but to another Tab L plan.

Thanks Tyler. Seems weird that they would restrict one $65 plan from being selected for the Tab L.
