Optional add-ons appear and disappear from your options on the self-serve page depending on what your current plan is. So you may well have an option to do it online, but others won't. While you are on seasonal hold, for example, the only thing you can do is pick a basic new plan. You then have to wait for it to be active before you can access anything else like international long distance, etc. which seems logical to me. Others have reported that if something doesn't appear in your options, you can call Koodo, explain this to them and the change will be done with no service fee.

All smartphones let you do this already, which seems easier to manage because I can turn it on and off as opposed to having to log into my account etc.
it doesn't exist on my plans....i called yesterday and they added it for me by blocking data on my phone, but when i unchecked the box to remove the block, the feature disappeared and I could not add it back.....yes it can be done on smartphones, but that's not easier if i never have the phone...i wanted the feature for my kids' plans.

You can disable data block via Self Serve, but you have to call in to enable it. I agree that it would be easier to let subscribers toggle it themselves.
