Offer The Free Call Display, Free Voice Mail and Free Canada Wide Long Distance for Everyone not just New Subscribers


I don't think it's very fair to offer all the free perks for new subscribers and someone who has been a loyal customer for many years MUST pay for these !!!! Where is the Perks for us ??? Why should we have to pay for Call Display, Voicemail and Free Canada Wide Long Distance when Newbies don't have to ???

Could you clear this up a little? I understand that existing customers can switch to a new plan and get all of the perks you describe in your title. As far as I know the main perk offered to new customers and not existing customers was $100 in.gift cards and accessories when they joined over the Christmas period... that offer is over so I'm not sure what perks new customers,get that are unavailable to existing customers.

A new customer with Koodo automatically get Free Call Display, Free Voicemail and Free Canada Wide Long Distance......But for me to get it I would have to pay for it because I'm not a new customer.....I have been told this by Customer Support !!!

You don't "have to pay because you're a new customer". What you have to do is change your plan to the same one the new customers get.

Indeed, ANYONE can sign up for one of the new canada wide plans. You are being ALLOWED to keep your old plan, not forced.

It's quite simple really... on average the old plans were $5 cheaper, starting at $15. Then Koodo changed the cheapest plan to $20, but in addition you get unlimited texting, voicemail, caller ID etc included. You also lose the per second billing, which the old plans have. It's a choice really, as others said, you can CHOOSE to upgrade your plan any time you want, but it's actually kind of Koodo that you don't HAVE to - many are quite jealous of the old plans and would probably pay you to swap 🙂

I gotcha, Darren 🙂 I guess you didn't get the whole story from the Rep... you can change at any moment - there are some very nice double promotions right now and it might very well be worth your while to upgrade to a better plan 🙂

I choose to stay with my old $15 plan even I don’t have a call ID. 🙂 Maybe one day… 😛
