I recently went over the new plans and saw something rather disappointing. Previous rate plans for data, the overage rate was either $5/25, $10/GB or the pay per use data rate. Now, here are the following overage charges. For the Talk & Text plans, the pay per use data saver has been completely removed. Data overage changes: $29. $5/50 mb $40, $5/50 mb $50, $5/50 mb $37, $5/100 mb $42, $5/100 mb $52, $5/100 mb $62, $5/250 mb $72, $5/250 mb Tab L: $65, $10/250 mb $75, $10/500 mb $95, $10/500 mb Region specific plans: $10/GB Only the region specific plans retain the half decent overage rate. I cannot fathom why Koodo would completely change their overage system to something that is worse than what it was. Nobody likes paying overage rates, but one should not be raked over the coals for it. Especially when accidental data usage happens (IE: Phone proceeds to do app upgrades, 200 mb are used, now there's a minimum of $20/$10/$5, depending on type of plan). I'm not really understanding this business logic. Maybe someone could enlighten me as to why this terrible change was implemented.
