No Service in Dominican Republic


Paid $40 for add on so I could use my phone in Dominican Republic and my phone would not work. It shows no Koodoo service available. My daughter's phone worked fine (also a Koodoo phone). Why did my phone that has the add on not work and hers did? I paid 40.00 extra and ended up having to pay more because we had to use the phone with out the add on.

There is no Koodo service in the Dominican Republic, you would be roaming on the local wireless providers network. The $40.00 add-on you purchased simply reduces the roaming charges. When travelling you have to ensure international calling is enabled. Hi Jennifer, dfbutt is right! Since we don't have service outside Canada, you would be roaming under one of our international partner's network.
