JUST BOUGHT A NEW SIM CARD TO REPLACE THE DAMAGED ONE THAT I HAVE AND I WANT TO ACTIVATE IT. BUT I WANT TO KEEP THE SAME

Of course you can keep the same number. You can register the new sim to your line via self-serve. If it doesn't work out, you can always call 866-99-KOODO and have it done for you over the phone.

Log into Self serve > Scroll down and "Change Phone" > Enter new SIM number and submit.
Then restart your phone.

If you have multiple lines under one account, make sure you select right number from "phone number" from drop down. 
It will take you to overview page again. so scroll down and do a same process again.

Just to add, if you accidentally switch the sim to the wrong phone number, the that sim can no longer work on any other Koodo phone line
