New phone, now plan but phone not updating to new plan

I changed phones back in July, and upgraded my plan from 2 GB to 6 GB.  But my phone is still showing the 2 GB limit. My account on Koodo does show correctly.  I tried chatting but that’s useless.  I’d like to sync them up but I don’t know how, or who needs to do this.

Go to Settings > Connection > Data usage > Mobile data usage > Gear icon > Data warning

It’s a setting you need to change on your phone. What phone do you have? 

The Samsung S20 5G.

Found it.  Slightly different spot but I now have it set to 5 GB.  I think if I go to the full 6 it could be too late.  Thanks for your time and help Robert.

Yeah that's the right thing to do. Set up a warning for 1gb before. You can also set up a data limit where the data cuts off. Sa e thing like the shock free data option.
