New customer fail.


I was on hold for 2 hours yesterday and then my call got dropped, I assume it was because your business hours had ended and you just cancelled the queue. My number was ported away from Eastlink at 6pm yesterday and its now 10am and I still have no service. The port must have worked because my Eastlink account is no longer active. This is not a great start koodo.

There was an overwhelming response to the promo plan at Koodo. You are not the only one, it is Canada wide. They are working on activating everyone soon.
I understand that it busy, but then why not tell me that BEFORE porting my number away from Eastlink. Why not say, "Hey, we're slammed at the moment, come back in a few days once we've caught up" Now if I try go back to Eastlink I wont get the same deal again, and will ned up paying more than before. I wasnt trying to get the $60 10GB plan.

Porting takes a variable length of time, depending on the carriers involved. Fourteen hours is not unheard of.

Same here. New customer joined yesterday, and lost phone services since join. Has been waiting for [b]19 hours, still no services. Horrible! Regret for switching to Koodo

I went back to the kiosk today, after waiting for 18 hours and still no service. The guys there set me up with a temp number and ported a 2nd number over for me in minutes. Still no sign of service with my original number that was being ported over....
