new $15. plans with data

I have the basic $15. plan. I see the new $15. plan also has a bit of data. How do I get that? Why do existing customers not automatically get the upgrade?

Because sometimes it can be a worse change. This time it's a better one. The best thing for you to do is to switch on the last day of your current base plan as switching plans prepaid resets the 30 days and you lose whatever you had left in your current 30 day plan.

They cannot automatically change your plan, they need your consent to do it.
